Watch this space for details of the upcoming 20th Anniversary Peace Train Reunion and Film Interviews to take place in Durban, South Africa.

Original band members and choir members, dancers, and families of The Peace Train will be invited to participate in an HISTORIC film being made about the EPIC JOURNEY of the original PEACE TRAIN that rode across South Africa in 1993 on the eve of our country's first democratic elections when we voted for NELSON MANDELA to be our first democratically elected President.

Our film maker will be with us to capture this historic occasion.

South African Embassy Washington DC Annual Freedom Day Festival

The South African Embassy in Washington DC hosts a huge all day festival every year to celebrate South African Freedom Day.  The first Freedom Day was on April 27th 1994 when ALL South Africans were finally allowed to vote and we voted for Nelson Mandela to be our first democratically elected President.  This annual event in Washington DC is a happening this year on Saturday April 27th!  See you there!  Then drive to Philly for our annual Friends Of The Peace Train fun-raising concert, lunch and dance party on Sunday noon at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street, Philadelphia!
